Flying High! Immersive graphics on a whole new level for this school of book lovers.
St Mary's Catholic Primary Academy transformed their school environment and raised their pupil’s sights with a stunning graphic display of 3D Flying Books.
We love embracing a new challenge, so when St Mary's Catholic Primary Academy in Wolverhampton approached us with an idea they’d seen in a library in the USA, we jumped at the opportunity to transform their school environment and transport their best-loved books onto the ceiling, scattered and ‘flying’ down the corridor.
We took the School’s list of favourite books and carefully crafted an original set of designs. Each colourful graphic is a beautiful pastiche, with bespoke illustrations to honour the original book and inspire a love of reading among the pupils.
We think this ceiling installation passes with flying colours! And judging by the excitement of the pupils and staff when they emerged from their classrooms, so did they! The carefully angled placement of each flying book brings a feeling of movement that brings the space to life and creates a fun, immersive experience down the whole length of the school corridor.
And we didn’t stop there. We also refreshed the School’s Reading Treehouse with some of our beautiful school graphics, adorning the front with a custom version of our 3D Wall Books and the inside with inspiring wall art. All in all, a complete transformation to the school’s corridors and reading spaces.
