Game, Set and Match: Custom illustrated characters elegantly displayed in a celebration of sport.

We tackled an uninspiring sports corridor at Reed’s School with a flowing wall display of fresh, new sporting characters.

Working with Reed’s School in Surrey for the past 5 years has been a rewarding and enjoyable relationship. We’ve transformed many of the main areas of the School, but the sports corridor presented a different challenge. This narrow, compact corridor was relatively uninspiring compared to the other areas and as such the school wanted to treat the space with a wall display of dynamic sports characters, but on a budget.

Our ‘Movement’ range of sports characters was the starting point for the design brief. We then worked closely with the School to customise these characters to ensure they embodied Reed’s School, creating a fresh range of dynamic, full-size sports characters - generic and unrecognisable - kitted out in the school’s uniform and colours. Our final design included bespoke illustrations for every sport (including a few new ones for our portfolio!) and accompanying text to enhance the wall display.

The final solution is a custom-made, flowing wall display with a finish carefully chosen to suit the design and the location - characters shaped in black foamex with inset printed vinyl graphics, mounted with fixings suitable for the brick walls. The display really maximises the space, fitting around doors, radiators, and other obstacles to create a dynamic visual experience.

We can tackle any space in your school, however awkward or uninspiring, with high-impact, custom-made wall graphics.
