Siriusly good wall graphics.
The headteacher at Race Leys Junior School approached us to help her turn a fairly uninspiring corridor within the school into an immersive, Harry Potter-themed area for Year 6 that would enhance their experience of being at school. We couldn't wait to get our creative minds working on this positively spellbinding project (sorry, can't resist!).
Time to get creative
Inspired by the love and magic of Harry Potter, our illustrator, Paul had lots of fun with this project as he is an avid Harry Potter fan and was eager to bring his illustrations to life.
We worked closely with the headteacher and most importantly the Year 6 students (who were full of amazing ideas) to bring their corridor to life. The design focussed on three distinct areas: Diagon Alley, The Great Hall and Platform 9 3/4 and incorporated bespoke wall graphics, door vinyls, hanging signage and 3D elements to help transform the corridor.
The result seemed like pure magic to the students, who were completely amazed at the difference. And we thoroughly enjoyed both the challenge and creativity involved in the project. We added dozens of little easter eggs for the students to find within the design, which extended their enjoyment and will delight future pupils every year.
“Working with The Media Collective has been amazing, their professional service is second to none, and nothing is too much trouble. They have the most creative and innovating ideas which blow my mind, and their designs never disappoint. I would highly recommend this company and can only thank them for all they have done for our school.”
