Equation Inspiration: Turning Maths Hallways into Art Galleries!

Transforming a plain Maths corridor into a vibrant space for inspiration and learning at King’s College School Wimbledon.

Wall art for a maths corridor featuring equations and puzzles

The Maths department at King’s College School Wimbledon wanted to transform their plain corridor with wall graphics to excite and challenge their pupils - a bold and beautiful presentation of Mathematics.

The School provided content focussing on the kind of extension problems that they might use to stretch their pupils, ranging in difficulty from problems that are accessible to anyone to some that will test even the School’s strongest mathematicians (and certainly us).

Our simple, uncomplicated designs present these mathematical equations and intriguing puzzles beautifully, in bold, full-coverage wall graphics.

Striking accents of colour and bespoke illustrations were added to bring a unique look and feel to these mathematical problems, and to the whole corridor, inviting students to ponder and problem-solve as they go about their day.

We love bringing our creativity and years of experience to solve new challenges and create exciting internal wall graphics.

It was a great experience working on this project with the design team. Once we had decided on a concept, the team were very positive about working with our proposal, bringing our ideas to life. It was exciting to see the initial ideas developed.
