Five Stars and More from Stowlawn School

We’ve just installed a suite of bold and colourful designs based around their ‘Stowlawn Stars’. We think that the end result is five stars. We hope you agree.

The brief was to create a design that captured the essence of the school values and displayed it in a fun, colourful and engaging way for all year groups. This comprised six core values and three additional overarching values: Ready, Respectful and Safe.

We identified several critical spaces within the school building that would work well, and our team created designs with these areas in mind. That allowed us to offer a mix of materials and layouts to get the most out of each area. Flat Cut Graphics, which come out from the wall, helped the values grab your attention. The Etch Window Graphics were also successful; they created some additional privacy for the Early Years Garden and look amazing with the light streaming through them from inside.

It was great that the client opted for Flat Cut Graphics in the design - it really elevates the final result

The school also wanted some interactive maps to help with lessons on geography-based lessons. We created a world map and an oversized map of the UK featuring local points of interest or history. These came with Flat Cut markers that the teachers could use with the maps to identify areas of the world.

Sensory Room

The school approached us for ideas to enhance their new Sensory Room, making it a more engaging and supportive space for students. After careful consideration, we proposed a design that combined elements from both our Custom-Made and Off-The-Shelf services.

Our final concept featured a vibrant, illustrated scene covering one of the walls and a window, creating an immersive and visually stimulating environment. To reinforce the school’s core values, we incorporated subtle, flat-cut graphics strategically placed throughout the room. Additionally, we introduced our Colour Monsters Wonderwall on the opposite wall—a dynamic and interactive feature designed to help pupils recognize and express their emotions.

This thoughtful blend of creativity and functionality ensures the Sensory Room provides a calming yet engaging experience, supporting students in both emotional regulation and sensory exploration.
