Sonic Stages: Redefining Departments Through Music and Drama Wall Art
Imagine walking through the corridors and being greeted by vibrant music and drama wall displays that not only catch your eye but also embody the spirit of each faculty. It's all about creating a powerful identity that inspires and uplifts!
The long, once-white corridor in the Drama Department at Bury Grammar School now feels more like you are walking along the West End thanks to the gorgeous set of rich, detailed show posters and brick wall backdrop. Colour-coded frames set each poster off against the realistic brickwork and helped to enhance the sense of realism. You can’t help but know you’re in the drama department now!
“Oh wow, that looks amazing!”
Within the labyrinthian corridors of the Music Department we suggested using a frieze to connect all of the spaces with a strong, simple motif. Key spaces received extra treatment, with well-known artists, a large orchestral diagram and world music creating focal points throughout the faculty.
