School Improvement Given the Golden Touch at The Hinckley School
After we helped The Hinckley School roll out their smart new branding across their site we delivered a collection of custom-designed wall graphics and signs that have incorporated the black and gold theme and taken their interior spaces to a whole new level.
Subject-based designs were developed for Geography, History, Music and English, with initial concept suggestions from us being developed in collaboration with the school to create bespoke wall displays that look incredible and tie in with curriculum plans. Hinckley School took advantage of our service level options to ensure that displays were produced to the best specification for each area based on considerations such as wall type, traffic levels and lifespan expectations.
Alongside the faculty displays we worked with The Hinckley School to develop a range of wall graphics and signs to showcase the brand and explain key messaging around their values and yeargroup hubs. These were placed into prominent corridors and circulation spaces and have been carefully designed to be accessible to all stakeholders.
The team at The Hinckley School were extremely responsive at every stage of the process, which is critical for ensuring the best outcomes and were a pleasure to work with. There are always so many things to consider when conceiving and creating large-scale permanent wall displays so good communication channels and the ability to present and discuss options at each project phase are vital.
Having the flexibility to change the designs where needed to accommodate the client's feedback allowed us to offer a more considered final product that everyone was happier with. Continual improvement and allowing space for new ideas to emerge are key to the creative process. It can be difficult at times, especially if we’re under time pressure, but it always delivers better results, which is what we love doing.
The overall impact of the various signs and graphics is impressive. Spaces feel cleaner, more welcoming and much more exciting. Subject-based designs make it clear where you are in the school and the repeated use of values and hub designs at key intersections reinforces crucial messaging for both staff and students.
