A Stairway to Heaven. And to Maths...
Pupils at Netherton CE Primary School can find inspiration almost everywhere now as they travel the corridors of their school with engaging stair riser graphics, 3D books and feature wall graphics.
One corridor has a literacy theme, with two sets of stairs each displaying colourful, oversized book spines on the risers, our unique 3D books lining the walls, and The Bible located at the highest point. Their very own staircase to heaven.
Another set of stairs features school branding and values. Designed and installed so that it can be easily seen and read by the smallest of pupils, whichever direction they are travelling.
The third staircase we tacked is now a rainbow of maths facts, brightening up a previously utilitarian part of the school and reinforcing key learning.
And in the main school hall we designed and installed a large values map to help pupils understand their world with a little more perspective and local context. A display showcasing spirituality sits at the opposite end and we understand will be used as part of assemblies.
