Woodland Whimsy at Park Lane.
Using a combination of full scale printed graphics and window vinyls, Park Lane Primary School and Nursey gets a complete overhaul, transforming the drab brick exterior into a whimsical woodland dreamscape.
When it came to bringing the exterior bricking at Park Lane to life, the brief was as simple as “The Secret Garden”.
Having previously overhauled the interiors, it made sense to mirror the magic that awaits indoors.
“If you look the right way, you can see that the whole world is a garden.”
Spaces to delight and inspire.
We love how from certain vantage points the exterior blends into the trees in the background, creating the illusion of the building disappearing into the woodlands behind it.
Small woodland creatures were also applied to the windows using vinyl cutouts to provide continuity in the design, while also creating added points of interest.
With such magical, imagination filled spaces within the school, the inclusion of an equally magical exterior made perfect sense.
The woodland theme was carried through to the exterior walls of the conservatory play area, to provide continuity and inspire imaginative play amongst the students of Park Lane.
Further vinyl window graphics were carried on throughout the conservatory.
Using a combination of preset elements and bespoke design, we were able to ensure that Park Lane received an end product which spoke clearly to them and of them.
