This impressive, multi-faceted wall graphic display at DLD College, London, is the first step in a phased plan to improve their teaching environment and inspire their students.
We were approached by the principal to help the college to help them bring key areas in their impressive new building to life. What could we do with vast expanses of white walls and a very loose brief? The answer was to start in one of the most prominent spaces and create a unique piece that represents DLD's location, aspirations, and diversity, all on a fixed budget.
We provided everything from the initial ideas through to the production and final installation, which allowed us to bring an exceptional level of detail to every stage of the process.
The result needs to be seen to appreciate the impact and we couldn't be happier. Watch the video below to see more.
Designed to fit
One of the main challenges with this project was how to take an unusual but prominent space and create a display that looked like it belonged. We created several initial concepts that approached this problem from different ways and then worked with the client to develop their preferred solution. Although the 14m long graphic fits perfectly in this unusual space the design is extremely flexible and can easily be extended at any point in the future.
